My brother Chris R.i.P (Updated funeral details)

This is a fucker.
Chris has been diagnosed with cancer and has been given weeks to live.
Spent a couple of weeks in hospital, and got him home last Friday, after being diagnosed the previous Saturday. I'll be looking after him.
I know a few on here know him, so just wanted to make them aware.

It's the perennial problem about life that you only learn as you get older.
The country and the world has had a horrible last two years but never say 'oh well, things can't get much worse' because just as you feel you've hit rock bottom there's always another floor below.

Thank you everyone.
Means a hell of a lot.
Yes, it was out of the blue. My brother hasn't been and still isn't in pain thankfully.
He'd not been feeling great, but not Ill enough to go to a doc/hospital. Thought he'd just get through it. Goes to hospital as discomfort too much, then bang.
He is getting palliative care, and has a care package in place too, and Macmillan are coming round tomorrow.

Heart and positive vibes go out to you both.
Make sure you keep some back for you, because when this goes where it goes you still need to be able to stand up and move forward with those still here.
